Meta Sarmiento is an award winning Filipino rapper, speaker, and professional poet born and raised in Guam. His work often reflects on family, identity, love, loss, masculinity, and healing. Along with a number of additional awards, Meta is a Recipient of the 2020 Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Award from Denver Asian American Pacific Islander Commission, winner of the 2019 Yes to Purpose Hip Hop Challenge TOURNAMENT, and is a showcased TEDx Speaker.
